Most auto-darkening helmets have a clear-state shade around DIN 4, which means setup and fit-up checks happen through a noticeable filter. The Crystal 2.0 drops the clear state to DIN 2.0 — close enough to no filter that you stop nodding your head up to look at the part. Combine that with ColorTrue color accuracy (much less greenish tint than typical auto-dark lenses) and you have a hood that genuinely changes how visible the puddle and the workpiece are.
