Our Story
Baker's Gas and Welding Supplies was established in 1936 by Dodie (Klemz) and Harold Baker. The business originally focused on industrial gases and welding supplies, with the first location in downtown Detroit on Michigan Avenue near the old Detroit Tigers' stadium.
The company remains family-owned and operated, having expanded to over 10 locations plus a dedicated shipping warehouse. At Baker's Gas, your business is our business — and ordering welding supplies should be straightforward.
