About Optrel
Optrel is the Swiss helmet maker that took auto-darkening lens technology mainstream with the original Satellite series in the 1980s and has stayed at the front of the category since. Their two flagship products — the Crystal 2.0 and the Panoramaxx CLT 2.0 — both use Optrel's ColorTrue lens technology, which reproduces colors with significantly less greenish tint than most auto-darkening helmets.
The Crystal 2.0 owns the lightest published light-state shade on the market (DIN 2.0), which makes pre-arc workpiece inspection feel like you're not wearing a helmet at all. The Panoramaxx CLT 2.0 pairs ColorTrue with the largest panoramic viewing area in the category — almost twice the surface of a conventional helmet, dramatically less neck strain over an eight-hour shift.
